Dr Lynne Eastwood (DClinPsy) is a qualified Clinical Psychologist registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC). Lynne qualified after completing the Doctorate in Clinical Psychology at the University of East Anglia (UEA). She has subsequently trained in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) at the Oxford Cognitive Therapy Centre, Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) in London.
Lynne has worked for the past 16 years in the NHS specialising in children’s and young people’s mental health. For the past 10 years Lynne has worked as Principal Clinical Psychologist in a senior leadership role in services in Cambridge and London. Lynne is valued for her range and depth of clinical experience working with children, young people and families, conducting assessments and delivering successful therapies. She specialises in trauma and mood and anxiety disorders including social anxiety, phobias, obsessive-compulsive disorder and excessive worry. Lynne is caring, friendly and collaborative in her approach. She has many years of experience working alongside schools and voluntary and statutory services.
In addition to her clinical work, Lynne has supervised clinicians and trainees working in the NHS and held a position as Associate Tutor at UEA. Lynne is committed to Continuing Professional Development and regularly engages in training events and is a member of the British Association for Behavioural and Cognitive Psychotherapies.
