Kiran is a joint Clinical Director and a Senior Cognitive Behavioural Psychotherapist, EMDR Therapist, and Behavioural Couples Therapist. She has years of experience in successfully delivering efficacious therapies. She has reached the pinnacle of her career, whereby she manages and supervises professionals delivering psychological therapies. Kiran has pioneered safeguarding adults and children in her Trust, and her knowledge and expertise in relation to risk assessment have been commended by various services and health professionals. Kiran attained a BSc (Hons) Degree in Cognitive Behavioural Psychotherapy at Kings College London. She has 12 years’ experience of working as a Senior CBT Therapist BME / safeguarding Lead and managing CBT Services in primary care in the NHS. She has extensive experience of training, supervision of CBT practitioners and in research and strategic roles.
As the Ealing IAPT BME Lead she project managed 2 research projects with Collaboration for Leadership in Applied Health Research& Care (CLAHRC). Kiran’s special interests include working with people with depression, people with anxiety disorders (including panic, obsessive compulsive disorder and social phobia) and people with relationship problems. She is also trained in providing CBT for couples and has a specialist interest in supporting couples who have faced various adversities, such as an affair or where one partner has been diagnosed with a long term health condition. She has completed additional and extensive training in Eye Movement Desensitisation & Reprocessing. She can provide therapy in English, Punjabi, Hindi and Urdu.
